The Alcor 86281 Probe is a versatile and reliable instrument designed for precise exhaust gas temperature (EGT) and turbine inlet temperature (TIT) monitoring. This probe features a small element diameter that ensures near-instantaneous response, providing accurate temperature readings. It is built to deliver sufficient electrical power for Alcor unamplified instruments and includes a built-in radiator that minimizes high-temperature effects on internal spot weld connections. Designed for use with Type K EGT or TIT instruments and leads, the clamp fits exhaust systems with diameters ranging from 1 1/8″ to 3 1/4″, with a hole size of approximately .1285″. The probe is accurate to ± 25 degrees at 1500 degrees Fahrenheit and is both PMA and FAA approved for all reciprocating powered aircraft.
